HANDCRAFT MARKET
The handcraft workers of our region, produce their work with material of the area, as wool, native wood, ceramic, stons and leather. The handcrafts you will find in the market come from different arts of the region, as Puyuhuapi, Puerto Cisnes, Puerto Aisen, Puerto Ibaņez, Villa Ortega, Chile Chico, Lago Verde and Cochrane. You will find the market just in front of the Plaza de Armas and is open every day of the year from 09 a.m. until 08 p.m.

PIEDRA DEL INDIO
Facing east downhill the Simpson river you will find the Piedra del Indio(indian face) overlooking the valley. You are able to see the face from the bridge over the simpson river. A legend tells that the face is looking to he coast, which makes the picture to one of the marvellous postcards of the city

NATIONAL PARKS
Near by Coyhaique you should visit large parks, as Parque Nacional Coyhaique and Parque Nacional rio Simpson, where you should take some pictures of the waterfalls named Salto de la virgen and Velo de la Novia.

LAKES
Many lakes outside Coyhaique invite you for fishing, as Lago Elizalde, Lago Polux, Lago Atravesado, Lago Castor and Lago Frio.
